Kay is an African-American filmmaker with an incredibly unique voice. She’s also a parent, nurse, and technology guru. Kay has a keen eye for creating authentic realism and truth in her work. She attributes her unique story perspectives to the amount of life experience and culture she has gained as a woman, person of color, former service member, and parent. Kay is an advocate for stories that have a large social impact and cause change in the world for overlooked populations.
